Deleting your data

Version 2.0 · effective 19 October 2026 · Last updated: 19 October 2026

You can delete your account or your business yourself at any time. If you chat with a business on WhatsApp or its website, the quickest way is to ask that business.

Delete a personal account

  • Open Hamada → Account → "Your data" → "Delete my account".
  • Type "delete my account" and confirm with the code we send you (or by signing in with Google / Apple again).
  • If you are the only owner of a business, delete it or add another owner first.

Delete a business (owners)

  • Business settings → Billing → "Business data" → "Delete this business", type the business name and confirm.

What happens

  • At once: assistants and channels stop, the subscription will not renew, and nothing more is charged.
  • For 30 days: you can cancel from the same place and everything comes back as it was.
  • After 30 days: we destroy the encryption key (so encrypted data can never be read), delete the assistant’s workspace and its snapshots, the files and the records, and disconnect connected apps at their providers.
  • Backups: database backups expire within 10 days, and assistant workspace snapshots within 14 days.
  • What we keep: invoices and payment records for the period the law requires (without extra personal details), and a record that the deletion happened.
  • Before deleting, you can download a copy of all your data from the same page.

If you are a customer of a business that uses Hamada

The business is responsible for your data. Ask it to delete it, or write to privacy@hamada.ai with the business name and your number and we will pass your request on and help it act on it.

If you used Facebook / Meta or chatted with a business on WhatsApp

Send "delete my data" to privacy@hamada.ai from the same number or email, or ask the business. We will confirm it is you, act on the request and send you a confirmation.
